1. Who these apply to
These terms cover everyone using hotelweddings.com: couples reading pages and sending enquiries, and hotel staff claiming or running a profile. Using the site means accepting them. If you do not, the site is still free to read — just do not send us anything.
The registered company behind Hotel Weddings, and its address, are not settled yet and go in this section before these terms do any real work.
2. What this site is
A directory of hotels that host weddings, with our own editorial guides. We are independent of every hotel listed. A hotel appearing here does not mean it paid to be here, and paying us does not move a hotel up a page — if that ever changes, the page will say so on the page, not in a footer.
3. What our prices mean
This is the part most worth reading.
- A price shown against a named hotel is what we found published, on the date shown. Hotels change their prices; we may not have caught up.
- Where we have not verified a price, we leave it blank and label it “Price not published. Ask the venue.” We do not fill the gap with an estimate dressed as a fact.
- Where we show a range from our own benchmark data, it is labelled “a market benchmark, not this venue's quote”. It tells you whether a quote is normal. It does not tell you what this hotel will charge you.
- Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a quote, a reservation, or a promise of availability. Only the hotel can give you those.
We try hard to be right and we will correct errors quickly — see section 8 — but we cannot guarantee that every figure, capacity or detail here is current. Check anything that matters with the hotel before you rely on it.
4. Sending an enquiry
When you send an enquiry it goes to the one hotel whose page you sent it from. Never to a second venue, never to a lead broker, never for sale. That is a rule about how the product works, not a preference, and the privacy policy says the same thing in data-protection language.
What follows is between you and the hotel:
- Whether they reply, how fast, and what they offer.
- Any contract you sign, any deposit you pay, any cancellation terms.
- The wedding itself — the rooms, the food, the service, the day.
We are not a party to that contract, we take no commission from you, and we cannot make a hotel honour anything. If a hotel behaves badly, tell us at hello@hotelweddings.com. We would rather know, and we can stop listing them.
Send us a real enquiry, for a real wedding you are actually considering. Fake enquiries cost a hotel a reply and cost us our credibility, so we screen for them and we will not bill a hotel for one. That screening is automatic and blunt: there is an hourly ceiling on how many enquiries one email address can send, and a hidden field that bots fill and people cannot. Shortlisting several venues in one sitting is the flow this site is built around and will not trip it. If a real enquiry is refused, email hello@hotelweddings.com and we will pass it on by hand.
5. Using the site properly
Do not:
- Scrape, bulk-copy or systematically extract our pricing data, guides or listings.
- Submit fake, automated or bulk enquiries, or anyone's details but your own.
- Use the enquiry or claim forms to sell anything to the hotels or to us.
- Try to break, overload or get into parts of the site that are not public.
- Copy our guides or data onto another site as if they were yours.
You are welcome to quote a sentence or a figure with a link back. That is how the web works, and we benefit from it.
6. If you are a hotel
A profile is free to claim and free to keep. We check every claim by hand before approving it, so claim only for a property you are authorised to speak for. We can decline or withdraw a claim if we think it is not genuine.
What you tell us about your own venue — prices, capacities, packages — you are responsible for keeping accurate. We publish it as yours.
Photos, logos and material you send us. If you send us photos, your logo, a fact sheet, floor plans, a wedding package or a tour link, you confirm the hotel has the right to let us use them, including any approval your photographer or your brand requires. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to show them on hotelweddings.com, in our emails and on our social channels, to store and serve them through our hosting providers, and to resize or crop them, with the credit you give us. The licence lasts while your profile is listed; ask us to remove anything and we will within 30 days (usually far sooner), and it ends when you delist. We show your logo only if you send it, and a hotel brand's logo only with that brand's written approval.
Our current commercial model is performance-based: nothing upfront, and a fee per qualified enquiry or room-block request we deliver, capped per property per year. The figures that apply to you, and the definition of a qualified enquiry, live in the written agreement you sign with us — that agreement controls, not this page. If you have not signed one, you owe us nothing.
7. Our content, their names
The guides, benchmark data, page design and the Hotel Weddings name are ours. Hotel names, logos and trade marks belong to those hotels, and we use them to identify the venue we are writing about — nothing here implies any hotel endorses us or is affiliated with us.
We do not publish hotel photography we do not have rights to. Where a venue page has no image, it says so plainly rather than borrowing one.
8. Getting something corrected
If we have published something wrong about your hotel — a price, a capacity, a claim in a guide — email hello@hotelweddings.com with what is wrong and what is right. We aim to correct factual errors within five working days, and we do not require you to claim a profile, advertise, or pay us anything first.
9. The site itself
We do not promise the site is always up or error-free. We may change, move or remove pages, including taking a hotel down. It is a young site and it will change a lot.
10. Liability
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer — in the UK under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, in Ireland and the EU under your national consumer law.
Beyond that, the exact limits belong in a clause a solicitor writes, checked against UK and Irish consumer law. We would rather leave it visibly open than publish a sweeping exclusion that a court would strike out anyway. See what is still open.
11. Your data
Covered in full by the privacy policy and the cookie policy. Questions to privacy@hotelweddings.com.
12. What is still open
Marked rather than invented, so nobody mistakes this page for finished:
- The registered legal entity, its name and its address.
- The liability clause, drafted and checked against UK and Irish consumer law.
- Governing law and which courts hear a dispute. Until that is settled, nothing on this page tries to choose a law that would cut across the consumer protections you have where you live.
- Whether a separate set of terms is needed for hotels, rather than section 6 plus the signed agreement.
- A trademark and copyright lawyer's review of the licence for photos, logos and material hotels send us (section 6).
- A solicitor's review of the whole page.
13. Changes
We will update this page as the site grows, and change the date at the top when we do. This version is dated 22 September 2026.
14. Contact
